Ravens active Harrison from injured reserve

Sat Nov 27 11:14pm ET

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) The Baltimore Ravens activated linebacker Malik Harrison from injured reserve Saturday, less than four weeks after he was struck on the leg by a stray bullet.

Harrison was hit by the bullet Oct. 31. Police said he was outside a Cleveland nightclub. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said at the time he didn't think the injury was severe. Baltimore put Harrison on the reserve/non-football injury list.

He was designated to return from NFI on Monday.

The Ravens host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday night. Baltimore also signed defensive back Kevon Seymour to the 53-man roster and placed safety Ar'Darius Washington on IR.

Five Waiver Wire Adds: Week 12

Player Notes
Kadarius Toney Nov 28 11:50am ET
Kadarius Toney

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles, while wide receiver Kadarius Toney (quad) is out, as previously reported. Barkley saw 12 touches last week for 56 yards and definitely doesn't look like Barkley was expected to look, but he should find a little more space against the Eagles, who allow the ninth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. You should go ahead and play Barkley in all your redraft leagues, though he's someone you might avoid in DFS contests based on how he looked last week.

Auden Tate Nov 28 11:50am ET
Auden Tate

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Auden Tate (thigh) has officially been ruled out for the Week 12 contest against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Tate was doubtful heading into Sunday's game, so it's no surprise that he'll miss yet another game. The 24-year-old has not seen action since Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens and hasn't been on the fantasy radar at all in 2021 while working as the fourth wideout behind rookie Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins in a loaded Cincy receiving corps. With Tate out again, Mike Thomas and Stanley Morgan will fight for snaps as the No. 4 pass-catcher against Pittsburgh.

Matthew Stafford Nov 28 11:40am ET
Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (arm, back) doesn't have an official injury designation ahead of the Week 12 meeting against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. However, the veteran signal-caller has reportedly been dealing with "chronic pain," specifically in his back and elbow. Nonetheless, Stafford has undoubtedly demonstrated his toughness and has played through various ailments over the years, so fantasy managers should continue to start him, at least until he shows signs of slowing down. Yet, the veteran has taken a beating this season, and Sean McVay will need to figure things out if he hopes to keep him under center, which could include more work moving ahead for Darrell Henderson Jr.

T.J. Watt Nov 28 11:40am ET
T.J. Watt

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden (foot) has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals. It will be Haden's second straight missed game, but the good news for the Steelers defense is that they will be getting linebacker T.J. Watt (hip, knee) and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick back for this divisional game. The 32-year-old Haden has 24 tackles (15 solo), five passes defensed and one forced fumble in eight games this season. With him out for the second straight week, James Pierre is expected to get another start at cornerback. With Watt and Fitzpatrick back in the fold, though, the Steelers defense should once again be a top-10 fantasy defense in Week 12.

Cordarrelle Patterson Nov 28 11:40am ET
Cordarrelle Patterson

Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is active for Sunday's meeting with the Jaguars. Jacksonville has only allowed one receiving touchdown to a running back this season, but Patterson's usage in Atlanta should make him a high-end RB2 option, even with running backs not finding a ton of success in the Jags in the passing game. Patterson is well-rested after missing last week's game and should see the bulk of the backfield touches this week.

Dre Greenlaw Nov 28 11:30am ET
Dre Greenlaw

The San Francisco 49ers have activated linebacker Dre Greenlaw (groin) from Injured Reserve, and he will be eligible to play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Greenlaw had core-muscle surgery after getting injured in the season opener and hasn't played since. The 24-year-old will almost certainly be on a snap count if he's active against the Vikings in Week 12. But Greenlaw showed in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions that he can be a key defensive player for the Niners when healthy, as he had six combined tackles and an interception returned for a touchdown before leaving with an injury. The 49ers defense has been playing much better in recent weeks, but they'll have a tough task against Minnesota this Sunday.

Baker Mayfield Nov 28 11:30am ET
Baker Mayfield

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder, foot, groin), who has been struggling with injuries in recent weeks, is finally able to make plays with his legs again and is showing signs of looking like himself, according to those who see him every day. His injuries are starting to heal, and one source said he's feeling as good as he has in a month. Another source described Mayfield as having no limitations. The last time Mayfield faced the Baltimore Ravens, his Week 12 opponent on Sunday night, he averaged more than six yards per rush and scored a touchdown. Mayfield will be getting pass-catching back Kareem Hunt (calf) back in Week 12 and will face a porous Ravens secondary, but he'll still be on the low end of the QB2 spectrum in Cleveland's run-first offense.

Matthew Stafford Nov 28 11:23am ET
Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (arm, ankle, back) will play in the Week 12 game even though he is dealing with pain in his throwing arm and elbow, a sore ankle and chronic back pain, according to sources.

Fantasy Spin: Stafford has been struggling over the last few weeks but will play through the pain. He can still be considered a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback despite the issues.

Lamar Jackson Nov 28 11:20am ET
Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (illness) is back at full strength, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. The former MVP didn't suit up for the Week 11 win over the Bears because of a Non-COVID-related sickness, allowing backup signal-caller Tyler Huntley to take over under center. Fortunately, Jackson reportedly had a "great week at practice" and was also "more energized," according to his teammates. Jackson has already played well against Cleveland, the Ravens' Week 12 opponent, throughout his career. However, the latest update certainly isn't good news for Browns' fans, although his fantasy managers likely feel differently.

Thaddeus Moss Nov 28 11:10am ET
Thaddeus Moss

The Cincinnati Bengals elevated tight end Thaddeus Moss from their practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Moss will be active for the first time in his career in Week 12, but it remains to be seen if he'll actually get on the field against Pittsburgh. The 23-year-old has some chemistry with quarterback Joe Burrow from their time at LSU in college, but C.J. Uzomah remains Cincy's top pass-catching tight end. Moss will simply be providing depth at the position behind Uzomah, Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox.

Anthony Miller Nov 28 11:10am ET
Anthony Miller

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Anthony Miller was promoted to the 53-man roster on Saturday. The veteran joined the team's practice squad a few months ago but was elevated after tight end Eric Ebron (knee) recently landed on Injured Reserve. However, it's expected that Miller won't get much action in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, especially since he will battle for targets with Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, Najee Harrisand Pat Freiermuth. As a result, fantasy managers needing to fill a void should certainly look elsewhere.

From RotoBaller

Ben Skowronek Nov 28 11:10am ET
Ben Skowronek

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Ben Skowronek (back) has been ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Green Bay Packers. Skowronek was in line for more work in the team's last game in Week 10 with Robert Woods (knee) out for the year, but the 24-year-old caught just one of his five targets for eight yards. His absence on Sunday against the Packers gives more hope that Odell Beckham Jr. will have an elevated role as possibly the No. 2 wideout behind Cooper Kupp in a game that could feature plenty of passing and points. Second-year wideout Van Jefferson will remain involved in the passing attack, but OBJ is expected to have a much bigger role in his second game with the team coming off the bye week. He's a WR3/flex with upside.

From RotoBaller

Eric Ebron Nov 28 11:00am ET
Eric Ebron

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Eric Ebron (knee) was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. This is hardly a surprise, primarily after he sustained a significant knee injury in Week 11 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Nonetheless, the 28-year-old hasn't done much for his fantasy managers anyway, hauling in only 12 catches for 84 yards and a touchdown while being relegated to a lesser role behind rookie Pat Freiermuth, so this isn't a huge loss by any means. As a result of the latest update, Ebron can be dropped in all fantasy formats, especially since there is a good chance his year is over.
