Travis d'Arnaud hit a two-run homer, his fourth in two nights, to help the Atlanta Braves to a 5-2 win over the visiting Texas Rangers on Saturday, extending their winning streak to six games.

The home run came in d'Arnaud's only official at-bat. He also walked twice and was hit by a pitch. The homer, his fourth of the season, went 422 feet to left-center and came against reliever Austin Pruitt.

Atlanta starter Charlie Morton (2-0) pitched six innings and allowed two runs on four hits and two walks, striking out four. Morton struck out Wyatt Langford in the second inning to record the 1,900th strikeout of his career.

Texas starter Nathan Eovaldi (1-2) threw 5 1/3 innings and allowed three runs on five hits and six walks, striking out six. Atlanta's Marcell Ozuna went 0-for-3 with a walk, ending his career-high 17-game hitting streak.

Rays 2, Yankees 0 (10)

Jose Caballero hit a tiebreaking double in the 10th inning as visiting Tampa Bay earned a victory over New York.

The Rays won for the seventh time in 11 games by putting together a rally against Caleb Ferguson (0-3).

Jason Adam (1-0) pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to set up for Caballero. Adam retired Juan Soto on a fly ball to the left-field warning track, struck out Aaron Judge and retired Anthony Rizzo on another fly ball. Garrett Cleavinger pitched a perfect 10th to earn his first career save.

Phillies 9, White Sox 5

Zack Wheeler tossed a no-hitter for 7 1/3 innings, Brandon Marsh homered and drove in two runs and host Philadelphia defeated struggling Chicago.

Wheeler (1-3) allowed one hit, struck out eight, walked two and hit a batter. Jose Alvarado recorded the final out with the bases loaded in the ninth inning for his fourth save of the season. Nick Castellanos had three hits and two RBIs, Trea Turner added two hits and two RBIs and Bryce Harper contributed two hits and an RBI.

Korey Lee hit a two-run double and a single, and Dominic Fletcher added an RBI double for the White Sox, who scored five times in the ninth inning. Eloy Jimenez added two hits and an RBI.

Mets 6, Dodgers 4

Starling Marte hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the sixth inning and visiting New York increased its winning streak to six games by holding on to beat Los Angeles.

Marte had two hits and drove in four runs as the Mets improved to 8-1 since April 11 and 12-3 since they opened the season with five consecutive defeats.

The New York bullpen did just enough as five relievers combined to give up two runs after starter Jose Butto gave up two runs on three hits and five walks in 4 1/3 innings. Michael Tonkin (1-2) earned the win and Reed Garrett recorded his first save.

Twins 4, Tigers 3

Bailey Ober logged six strong innings and Minnesota held off Detroit in Minneapolis. Ober (1-1) was perfect until Matt Vierling singled with one out in the fifth. The right-hander fanned the next two batters he faced, though, two of his six strikeouts on the afternoon.

The Twins picked up a pair of critical runs in the fifth to build a 4-0 cushion. An Alex Kirilloff grounder ricocheted off first baseman Spencer Torkelson's glove, allowing Austin Martin to score, then Trevor Larnach drove in Ryan Jeffers with a sacrifice fly.

Matt Vierling went 2-for-4 with a run and Riley Greene scored twice as Detroit fell for the third time in four games. Tigers starter Reese Olson (0-3) lasted five innings, giving up four runs (two earned) and five hits. He walked two and fanned four.

Marlins 3, Cubs 2 (Game 1)

Bryan De La Cruz hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the ninth inning as visiting Miami rallied past Chicago in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.

Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with a double for Miami. Arraez singled with one out in the ninth to bring up De La Cruz, who homered off Cubs closer Adbert Alzolay. Tanner Scott escaped a ninth-inning jam to earn his third save for Miami. Calvin Faucher (1-0) racked up four strikeouts across two scoreless innings in relief for the win.

Alzolay (1-2) has blown half of his six save opportunities, including his last two. Nico Hoerner led the Cubs with two hits, while Patrick Wisdom supplied both of Chicago's runs with a triple in the second inning.

Cubs 5, Marlins 3 (Game 2)

Cody Bellinger and Alexander Canario homered and Michael Busch delivered a go-ahead two-run single in the sixth to help Chicago beat visiting Miami to earn a split of the doubleheader.

Cubs rookie left-hander Shota Imanaga (3-0) allowed three runs (two earned) and five hits in six innings. He struck out five with no walks.

Marlins starter Roddery Munoz was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville to serve as the 27th man for the doubleheader, and the only two hits he allowed over five-plus innings were solo shots by Bellinger and Canario. He struck out seven and walked one.

Red Sox 4, Pirates 2

Masataka Yoshida collected three hits, including a two-run home run, to propel visiting Boston to a victory over Pittsburgh.

Kutter Crawford (1-0) limited the Pirates to one run on seven hits in six innings to collect the win. He struck out six and walked three. Crawford lowered his ERA to 0.66.

Mitch Keller (2-2) pitched six innings for the Pirates. He gave up four runs on five hits, walked four and struck out four. Connor Joe had a pinch-hit home run for the Pirates, who received three hits from Bryan Reynolds. Joe's home run was his second of the season.

Giants 7, Diamondbacks 3

Patrick Bailey fell a triple shy of hitting for the cycle, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs in host San Francisco's victory over Arizona.

Arizona starter Zac Gallen, trying to become the first major league pitcher with four victories this season, did not pitch beyond the fifth after giving up a two-run home run to Bailey with two outs in the inning. Bailey's blast put the Giants up 5-3.

Gallen (3-1) allowed nine hits and five runs in five innings. Blaze Alexander had an RBI double for the Diamondbacks.

Guardians 6, Athletics 3

Josh Naylor hit a two-run homer and singled in a run as Cleveland beat visiting Oakland.

Steven Kwan went 4-for-5 and Gabriel Arias added two hits for the Guardians, who outhit the A's 14-6 and won for the fifth time in the past six games.

Cleveland starter Logan Allen (3-0) pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed three runs on five hits. Emmanuel Clase worked around a leadoff double in the ninth inning for his sixth save.

Oakland third baseman Max Schuemann recorded his first major league hit by tying the game at 2-2 with a solo homer in the top of the fifth.

Nationals 5, Astros 4 (10)

Joey Meneses drove in the winning run with a single on the first pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift Washington over visiting Houston.

CJ Abrams homered and doubled for the Nationals, who struggled in clutch situations until the last two innings. Kyle Finnegan (1-2) was the winning pitcher with an inning of relief, though he needed to face just two batters.

Yordan Alvarez delivered three hits, Kyle Tucker rapped a pair of run-scoring singles, and Jeremy Pena drove in a late-inning, go-ahead run with his second single of the game, but those weren't enough for Houston. All nine hits for the Astros were singles.

Reds 7, Angels 5

Tyler Stephenson's grand slam highlighted a five-run first inning and propelled host Cincinnati to a victory over Los Angeles.

Spencer Steer had three hits, Stuart Fairchild added two hits and drove in two, and Elly De La Cruz walked four times for the Reds, who made a winner out of starter Graham Ashcraft (3-1) though he gave up five runs on five hits and three walks in five-plus innings.

Miguel Sano was a triple shy of the cycle for the Angels and hit his first home run since April 15, 2022. Los Angeles starter Patrick Sandoval (1-3) surrendered seven runs on six hits and five walks in four-plus innings. He struck six.

Orioles 9, Royals 7

Baltimore used a seven-run second inning to beat host Kansas City.

Craig Kimbrel, the Orioles' sixth reliever of the game, pitched a hitless ninth for his fifth save and 422nd of his career, matching Billy Wagner for seventh in career saves.

Salvador Perez finished 3-for-5 with five RBIs for the Royals.

Mariners 7, Rockies 0

Luis Castillo pitched seven scoreless innings for his first victory of the season and Cal Raleigh had four hits, including a homer, as Seattle blanked Colorado in Denver.

Julio Rodriguez went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and two stolen bases for the Mariners, who extended their winning streak to four games.

Rockies starter Dakota Hudson (0-4) lasted four-plus innings. He gave up four runs on seven hits, with five walks and one strikeout.

Blue Jays 5, Padres 2

Jose Berrios tossed six shutout innings and Daulton Varsho cracked a three-run homer to lift visiting Toronto over San Diego.

Berrios (4-0) scattered five hits, walked two and struck out six to lower his ERA to 0.85. The Blue Jays' bullpen made it interesting by permitting single runs in the seventh and eighth, before Jordan Romano locked down his second save with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Randy Vasquez (0-1) struggled early for the Padres, who dropped their third straight game. He surrendered five hits and four runs, one earned, over five innings and 97 pitches. Vasquez walked one and fanned three.

Brewers 12, Cardinals 5

Rhys Hoskins hit a two-run homer and an RBI single as visiting Milwaukee rolled past St. Louis.

Brice Turang also hit a two-run homer for the Brewers, who won their third straight game.

Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (1-3) allowed five runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings as St. Louis suffered its third straight loss.
