If you’ve been a regular reader here, then you’ve heard me say, “In fantasy football, sometimes you’re the dog and sometimes you’re the hydrant,” before. Well, sometimes you’re the guy walking that dog and you’re letting him pee anywhere he damn well pleases. That was me this past week and while normally I try to be fairly humble, we were so strong in Week 9 that sometimes you just have to puff out your chest and shout it out to the world that if you’re not with me, you’re missing out.
Did you happen to catch my Wide Receiver Value video that posted on the RT Sports YouTube page and website Friday? Did you read about my recommended adds/starts in Saturday’s New York Post? How about my DFS Playbook and Dart Board over on Fantasy Alarm? What about listening to the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, Monday through Friday from 6-8 PM ET and Sunday mornings from 10-11 AM ET? Follow me on my socials? Twitter/X? Instagram? Facebook? TikTok?
If your answer is no to any and all of the above, they’re all linked so you don’t make that mistake again, because you probably missed out on adding Tory Horton and Parker Washington. You probably didn’t use Drake London in DFS. You probably missed all the Week 9 bets I posted and you probably missed all the pick’em picks I shouted from the rooftops. We had a spectacular week and I want to make sure that all of you have everything at your disposal week in and week out.
Do we win like this every week? Of course not. No one does and anyone who tells you they do is also trying to sell you a bridge in Brooklyn or some swamp land in Florida. Betting, pick’ems and DFS are a slow grind, but I still win more than I lose and when a week like this one hits, it puts you way over the top and you’re playing with house money. I’ll happily go up and down for a few weeks because I know the big one is coming. It always does. You have to be patient. You have to trust the process. And when you do go on a losing streak – because everyone does -- you stay the course and continue to trust the process. Losing streaks only get worse when you try to change your process too much, hoping to win it all back in one fell swoop.
Again, I really do try to stay humble, but sometimes you just have to say it with your chest so that everyone hears you. Now let’s get to some fantasy football talk.
While many of us were out strutting like a peacock on Sunday, there are several out there that got a huge bite in the ass by the injury bug. Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow and Tucker Kraft tore his ACL. Both are out for the rest of the season and each one is leaving a gaping hole in people’s lineups. Fortunately, I’ve already dug into the Week 10 QB streamers and I also happen to be the OG Tight End Whisperer. So, let’s get to it.
Streaming quarterbacks here in Week 10 is actually going to be easier than most think. Yes, it depends on your league size and format, so not everyone will have an easy time. If you lost Daniels in a superflex league, chances are your waiver options are crazy limited. Maybe Marcus Mariota was thrown back after last week. That’s definitely a possibility. Is Tyler Shough available? He can be used as a last resort unless, of course, you are stacked with position players and have someone else who has roughly a 10-12-point floor you can use. I always have to remind people that just because it’s a superflex position doesn’t mean you have to use a quarterback there.
If you play in a single-QB league, then hitting the waiver wire this week should be fairly easy, provided you don’t play in a league of psychopaths and everyone is hoarding quarterbacks. You can start with the New York guys. Both Jaxson Dart and Justin Fields line up as great options, not just for this week, but in weeks beyond as well. Dart continues to lose weapons, but routinely raises his floor with rushing yards and touchdowns. He gets the Bears this week, the team that just let Joe Flacco (sadly on a bye in Week 10) throw for 470 yards and four touchdowns. Fields also raises the floor with his rushing and will be chased around by Browns DE Myles Garrett, so you can expect a boost in yardage totals. He is also getting Garrett Wilson back and anyone who has watched the Browns knows, you may not be able to run on them between the tackles, but you can certainly throw on them.
If neither is available, check out Sam Darnold, who is very much enjoying his weapons upgrade with Tory Horton. He faces Arizona and their defensively-challenged secondary next week. J.J. McCarthy also has elite weapons, his offensive line is almost back to full health, and he gets the Ravens, who, maybe they’re improving, but Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison are both game-changers. Beyond that, you can even take a look at Bryce Young, who faces the Saints. They may not allow a ton of yards through the air but opposing quarterbacks are wildly efficient against them and Young should have no issues finding his targets in the end zone.
Don’t worry too much about the week beyond. Sometimes streaming quarterbacks is better than committing to one mid-level guy with tougher match-ups on the schedule.
As for your tight end concerns, that can be a little trickier. Your goal is to find a guy who is at least third in the targets pecking order and that can be difficult to find. Something that I like to do is find the data for Defense vs Position and start looking ahead at the schedules of the teams allowing the most fantasy points to the tight end position. It’s not foolproof, but it’s super-helpful.
Sadly, the Bengals, who allow the most fantasy points per game to the tight end, are on a bye this week, but keep Pat Freiermuth and Hunter Henry on your radar for Weeks 11 and 12. The next worst is the Steelers, but I’m sure Oronde Gadsden is already gone. For Weeks 11 and 12 against them, pay attention to Tanner Hudson and Colston Loveland. But you need help now, don’t you? Let’s look at the top options for Week 10.
Dallas Goedert faces Green Bay next week on Monday Night Football and they’re terrible against the tight end. Kyle Pitts faces the Colts and they’ve been bad too. Just ask the folks who streamed in Freiermuth this past week. Check out AJ Barner, who faces Arizona, Cade Otton, who takes on New England and maybe even Juwan Johnson, who squares up with Carolina. None of them are going to get you the same points Kraft did, but your goal is not to replace him per say. Your goal is to find the guy who can give you at least some help.
These are two very big injuries and recovering from them can be a daunting task. Daunting, but not impossible. One day, I’ll tell you the story of how I won a league thanks to Isaiah Hodgins. Who? Exactly.
You’ve got all my socials up above and you can reach out to me anytime. Remember when I wrote about how much I love my job? It’s for reasons like this, so don’t be shy. Everyone needs a little help at some point.
Bender out.
Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III has been wildly inconsistent in his first year in the league in an offense with weapons galore for second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. The 21-year-old second-round selection out of Missouri only has three games with over 50 receiving yards, has scored just one time (back on Sept. 21), and has three games with negative yardage. Burden has been extremely hard to trust as a flex option in fantasy leagues as a result, but he might be worth stashing on your bench as we approach the final stretch of the 2025 season. In the last two games, Burden has played over 40% of the offensive snaps for the first time all year, leading to six receptions on eight targets for 78 yards. In the Week 11 win over the Vikings, he caught three passes for only 27 yards, but his five targets were a season high and tied for second on the team. At only 8% rostered in Yahoo leagues, fantasy managers may want to take a peek at the talented young wideout with upside in an improving offense.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney almost had the second 1,000-yard season of his career in 2024 with the Falcons, but this year has been an entirely different story. In eight games played, Mooney has only 16 receptions on 42 targets for 224 yards and no touchdowns. The 28-year-old former fifth-round pick has had four one-catch games and just has not been trustworthy for fantasy purposes. However, Mooney is now on the waiver-wire radar going into a Week 12 divisional contest against the New Orleans Saints after teammate Drake London (knee) sprained his PCL in Sunday's overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers. Mooney also injured his ribs in that game, but he was able to return after halftime and finished with three catches on four targets for 34 yards. Rostered in 31% of Yahoo leagues, Mooney might now become a more attractive flex play for however long London is out. The catch is that veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins is now taking over the offense with Michael Penix Jr. (knee) likely done for the year.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Tyrell Shavers had the best game of his young career in Week 11, recording four catches for 90 yards and a touchdown on five targets in a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Across 10 games this season, the 26-year-old has hauled in 11 catches for 172 yards and a score on 17 targets. Shavers was a beneficiary of Bills wideout Keon Coleman being a healthy scratch in Week 11 due to a coach's decision. While Coleman is expected to be back for Buffalo's Week 12 matchup against the Houston Texans, Shavers may have earned more playing time with his production in Week 11. The Bills may also be without tight end Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) for a second consecutive game against Houston, leaving the target landscape wide open for Shavers and fellow Bills wide receivers Khalil Shakir and Joshua Palmer. In deep fantasy leagues, Shavers could be worth targeting on the waiver wire.

Before his team's Week 11 bye, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce appeared to be on a clear upward trajectory. Across four games from Week 7 to Week 10, the 25-year-old recorded 17 catches for 366 yards and a touchdown on 35 targets. Pierce has always been a big-play threat, averaging 18.2 yards per reception across 57 career games. However, his 6.5 target-per-game average in 2025 is a career-high and represents a change in his role within the Indianapolis offense. If he can continue to marry explosiveness with more consistent target volume, Pierce could be a true breakout wide receiver down the stretch of the season. In fantasy leagues where he may have been dropped during his bye week, Pierce is a must-add player off the waiver wire, even as the Colts head into a difficult Week 12 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner had a breakout game in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams, recording 10 catches for 70 yards on 11 targets. The 23-year-old's high-volume outing was a major surprise, as he's cracked four targets just one other time across 10 games played in 2025. Overall, Barner has hauled in 31 catches for 306 yards and four touchdowns on 37 targets. Fantasy managers should not expect double-digit targets for Barner every week, but he's emerged as the most-trusted tight end in a very potent Seattle passing game. As a touchdown-dependent streamer, Barner could have some value in the right matchups in deeper formats. He's worth targeting on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues with 14 or more teams heading into a Week 12 meeting with the Tennessee Titans.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has just three carries for 10 yards in his team's Week 11 loss to the Carolina Panthers. However, Allgeier did manage to find his way into the end zone against Carolina for his seventh rushing touchdown of the 2025 season and his fourth in the last four weeks. Across 10 games this season, the 25-year-old has rushed for 280 yards and seven scores on 77 rush attempts. Allgeier remains the clear RB2 in Atlanta behind star running back Bijan Robinson. However, Allgeier has more rushing touchdowns than Robinson and clearly has the trust of the Atlanta coaching staff in short-yardage situations. Allgeier's goal-line role gives him some flex appeal in the right matchups, and he'd profile as a must-start fantasy running back if Robinson were to get injured. Allgeier should be rostered in all fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) has been on Injured Reserve since Week 2 as he rehabs collarbone and foot injuries. However, Reed is expected to return this season and was reportedly ramping up his rehab leading into Green Bay's Week 11 win over the New York Giants. The Packers have yet to open Reed's 21-day activation window, so it may still be a few weeks before he retakes the field. Still, fantasy managers with an open IR spot may want to consider stashing the 25-year-old ahead of his eventual return. Across 17 games in 2024, Reed recorded 55 catches for 857 yards and six touchdowns on 75 targets. When healthy, he'll rejoin a crowded Packers wide receiver room that also includes Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Dontayvion Wicks. The Packers host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12 before traveling to Detroit in Week 13 to take on the Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins rookie running back Ollie Gordon II had one of the better games of his young career in Week 11, recording nine carries for 45 yards and a touchdown against the Washington Commanders. Across 11 games played, Gordon II has now logged 194 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 56 touches. While De'Von Achane is still the star of the Dolphins' backfield, Gordon II has proven he can be productive in a complementary role when Miami is in a favorable game script. The Dolphins enter their Week 12 bye having won three out of their last four games and have a winnable matchup on paper in Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints. Gordon II's primary fantasy value remains as a handcuff to Achane, but he could be a deep-league flex option in Week 13 against New Orleans. In fantasy leagues with 14 or more teams where he remains available, Gordon II could be worth targeting on the waiver wire.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight saw a scaled back role in the rushing game during Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Heading into this game, Knight had seen nine carries or more in each of his last four games. However, Knight carried the ball only five times for 24 yards and scored a touchdown in the loss. He also hauled in all four of his targets through the air for 21 additional yards. The fact the game was a blowout could've contributed to the lack of carries for Knight. He figures to have a bigger role during next week's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fantasy managers should be able to plug in Knight as a low-end flex option
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos running back Jaleel McLaughlin saw an increased role during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. McLaughlin has been a healthy scratch throughout most of the season, but is likely to see an expanded role going forward. The Broncos are going to be without J.K. Dobbins (foot) for the foreseeable future, so McLaughlin will likely see more touches. He carried the ball six times for 19 yards and scored a touchdown in the Week 11 win. McLaughlin won't be worth adding with the team on bye in Week 12, but is someone to keep an eye on going forward. He could see a handful of carries on a weekly basis.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins was a non-factor in the offense early in the season, but is starting to make an impact. Over the last four games, Hollins has finished with 64 receiving yards or more. The absence of Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) has led to more targets coming Hollins' way. Once Boutte returns, Hollins figures to see his role reduced, but he should still stay in the gameplan. Hollins is someone to consider as a flex option for the upcoming Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson broke out in a big way during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Watson has been held in check during his first few games, but finally found the end zone this past weekend. The 26-year-old hauled in four of his five targets for 46 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Given the Packers current injuries, Watson could be an interesting waiver wire addition this week. The expectation is that Watson's role on the team will grow as time goes on. He should offer at least flex value for the Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens were on the sideline for the first drive of Monday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The benching of these players wasn't because of an injury. This was a coach's decision, so it appears that Lamb and Pickens were being disciplined for some reason by head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Fantasy managers don't need to panic, as both players were back in the game after that. Hopefully, this won't be a problem going forward. Both Lamb (touchdown) and Pickens were quickly involved in Dallas' passing attack after sitting out the first offensive series in Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch has been a non-factor basically all season until making some noise during Sunday's game. Dortch was asked to step up into a larger role with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) sidelined this weekend. The 27-year-old delivered as he hauled in all six of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Dortch played a season-high 66 percent of the offensive snaps during this contest. He could be worth snagging off the waiver wire for Week 12, assuming Harrison misses another game.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Joshua Palmer (ankle, knee) was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated injury report. Receivers Mecole Hardman (calf) and Curtis Samuel (elbow, neck) were listed as non-participants. Palmer missed Weeks 8-10 with ankle and knee injuries, but he was able to return to action on Sunday in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 26-year-old played 50% of the offensive snaps but caught only two of his five targets for 17 yards. It was an especially disappointing stat line with receiver Keon Coleman out for disciplinary reasons and tight end Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) sidelined by injury in a game in which the Bills put up 44 points and moved the ball at will against Tampa. Even if Coleman and Kincaid both miss another game this Thursday night, Palmer should be faded in Week 12 in a much tougher matchup against the Houston Texans and their top-ranked defense.
From RotoBaller
The Washington Commanders signed kicker Jake Moody off the Chicago Bears' practice squad on Monday, according to John Keim of ESPN. It looks like Moody will get the first chance to take over kicking duties in D.C. after the team released struggling veteran Matt Gay on Monday. However, with the Commanders on bye in Week 12, the team could bring in additional competition for Moody as they prepare for a Week 13 matchup on Sunday Night Football against the 9-2 Denver Broncos. Moody, 25, was cut by the San Francisco 49ers early this season before he latched on with the Bears. He has gone 9-for-12 on field-goal tries and 5-for-5 on his extra-point attempts in 2025 in just three games played. Moody has a career 76.1% success rate on his 71 career field-goal attempts, and fantasy managers will want to stay away from him if he's the Commanders' placekicker for a difficult matchup in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated injury report, according to ESPN's DJ Bien-Aime. It's an injury that Schultz has been dealing with for the last month, but he's played in the last four games and should be good to go for this Thursday night's tilt against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, barring a setback. The 29-year-old got off to a slow start in 2025, not going over 39 receiving yards in any of his first four games. Since Week 7, though, he has 30 catches on 41 targets for 303 yards and a touchdown in five games. Schultz has been heavily involved with quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) out of the last two games, too, catching 13 of 20 targets for 104 yards and a score. Even if Stroud is out again this week, Schultz will be on the TE1/2 borderline in fantasy football.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders RB Chase Edmonds reverted back to the practice squad Monday, Nov. 17, after being on the active roster for the Week 11 game.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated injury report, according to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN. It's a new injury for Collins, but he didn't appear to be hurt in the team's Week 11 win over the Tennessee Titans. The 26-year-old caught a season-high nine passes on 10 targets for 92 yards and his fourth touchdown of the year in the 16-13 victory. Starting quarterback C.J. Stroud has missed the last two games with a concussion, but it hasn't slowed Collins down, as he now has 16 receptions on 25 targets for 228 yards and a touchdown the last two weeks with Davis Mills running the offense. As long as Collins can suit up on Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, he should remain in all starting fantasy lineups. He is the WR11 with 12.6 half-PPR points per game in 2025.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos TE Marcedes Lewis reverted back to the practice squad Monday, Nov. 17, after being on the active roster for the Week 11 game.
