The Kansas City Chiefs have signed running back Dameon Pierce to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Tennessee Titans, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Pierce signed with Kansas City's practice squad on November 24 after being waived by the Houston Texans. The 2022 fourth-round pick had a promising rookie campaign, totalling 939 yards and four touchdowns on 220 carries with 30 catches (39 targets) for 165 yards and another score as a receiver, but has faded into a depth role since then. Pierce doesn't have a path to consistent playing time with the Chiefs, as Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco lead the backfield. Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cameron Ward has thrown multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games for the first time this season. Ward completed 18 of 29 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns with a season-high 101.2 passer rating in last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has largely struggled this season, totaling 12 touchdowns to 16 turnovers and taking a league high 49 sacks. Positively, he's taken only one sack and committed one turnover in the past two games, but faces another challenge on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell has underwhelmed for fantasy purposes as of late, attempting just two field goals over the past four weeks. He'll look to get back on track against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. Boswell has been steady when given opportunities this season, and perhaps more importantly, this contest is expected to feature plenty of scoring. Of course, the Steelers will need to reach the end zone to keep pace with the Lions' high-powered offense, but Boswell could still have ample chances to make an impact in a climate-controlled environment at Ford Field. Fantasy managers can start Boswell as a top-12 option at the position this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange is tough to trust in Week 16 against the Denver Broncos. He had a down week in Week 15 despite a huge offensive performance from Trevor Lawrence, showcasing that Strange may be falling in the target pecking order. Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. seem to be more at the forefront of the passing offense, which limits Strange's upside. The Broncos have an elite pass rush, which could mean a security blanket tight end is necessary, but it is hard to predict, given the target competition. Strange isn't the worst starting option, but fantasy playoff teams should have a better choice if they want to advance in Week 16.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Kenneth Gainwell has been heavily involved over the past five weeks and should remain a focal point of the offense against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens is coming off his worst two-game stretch of the season and faces a Chargers defense in Week 16 that has been the sixth-toughest matchup for opposing receivers. The Cowboys are slight home favorites in a game that features the second-highest over/under of the week. And despite failing to crack a 20% target share in either of the past two games, with Dallas' high-volume passing attack, that has still been enough for a healthy 15 targets over that span. With Javonte Williams (neck) limited to begin the week and CeeDee Lamb (illness) unable to practice until Friday, it would not be surprising to learn that this week's install featured a healthy dose of Pickens, and he remains a trustworthy start despite his last two lackluster efforts.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (knee) has missed the last four weeks with a knee injury, and despite a questionable tag after being limited in practice all week, he is expected to suit up for Sunday's road matchup against the Cardinals. The 24-year-old was rolling before going down with the injury, recording five 100-yard receiving games in his last six contests, along with six touchdowns to boot. Those games all featured Michael Penix Jr. (knee) under center, though, so there is some uncertainty whether or not Kirk Cousins will display the same affinity for the team's No. 1 receiver. Cousins showed a penchant for targeting his tight end, Kyle Pitts Sr., the most during London's absence. Nevertheless, London slots right back in as a mid-range WR1 for Week 16's road matchup against an Arizona defense that is middle of the road in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing wideouts, but that has been hemorrhaging points over the last three weeks, giving up 35 points per game over that stretch (second most). Managers should just make sure to double-check his status on Sunday to make sure he is playing.

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson hauled in all four of his targets for 30 yards in Week 15's victory over the Panthers. It marked Johnson's second straight game with exactly four receptions and his fourth consecutive contest without finding the end zone. He ranks second on the team in receptions, targets, and receiving yards behind Chris Olave. With injuries piling up and the Saints set to be without Devaughn Vele (shoulder), Alvin Kamara (knee), and Devin Neal (hamstring), Johnson's already steady role in the passing game could grow. The Jets allow the 13th-fewest PPR points to tight ends, placing Johnson in the TE1/TE2 mix this week.
