Week 4 brings some great games across the NFL, including the Eagles hosting the Rams. We also have our first London game of the season between the Colts and Commanders. Let’s dig into the DFS options and highlight some of the best players to consider at each position, as well as a few to avoid based on their matchups.
Quarterbacks
Tyler Shough, NO vs. ATL ($5,600): The Saints have been a pass-heavy team, helping Shough throw for 917 yards and eight touchdowns through three games. He has also made an impact with his legs, rushing 14 times for 67 yards and one touchdown. With running back Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) on IR, the Saints could throw even more moving forward. Shough already has 12 completions of at least 20 yards, which is noteworthy for this matchup because the Falcons are tied for the fifth-most receptions allowed of at least 20 yards. At his reasonable salary, Shough makes for a great DFS option again.
Jacoby Brissett, ARI at NYG ($5,000): After the Seahawks shut down Brissett in Week 2, the veteran bounced back to throw for 280 yards and two touchdowns against the 49ers last week. With the Cardinals’ defense struggling again, Brissett was forced to attempt 52 passes as their offense tried to keep pace. The Giants just lost their defensive leader in Brian Burns (knee) for the season, and cornerback Paulson Adebo (knee) is also on IR. Given his cheap salary, Brissett might be too good to pass up.
Player to Avoid
Drake Maye, NE at BUF ($6,000): Maye looks nothing like the quarterback who nearly won the MVP last season. His completion percentage has dropped from 72.0% to 63.8%. He has just one touchdown and has been picked off six times. He certainly misses A.J. Brown (ankle), which has contributed to him completing only eight passes of at least 20 yards. Last year, he made 67 such completions. This isn’t a horrible matchup against the Bills, but until Maye shows signs of life, it’s best to avoid him in DFS.
Running Backs
Jahmyr Gibbs, DET at CAR ($9,000): Going with Shough or Brissett at quarterback helps free up some of your budget to deploy Gibbs at running back. His salary is certainly hefty, but he can still be well worth it. He already has 307 rushing yards, 18 receptions, 156 receiving yards and six touchdowns. In two of his three games, he received at least 20 rushing attempts. The Panthers allow an NFL-high 5.86 yards per carry to running backs, so they will be fighting an uphill battle to slow down Gibbs.
Aaron Jones Sr., MIN vs. MIA ($6,000): With Jordan Mason (thumb) on IR, Jones doesn’t have much competition for work in the Vikings’ backfield. After rushing 23 times for 105 yards in Week 2, he ran 17 times for 58 yards versus the Buccaneers last week. He also hauled in five of his six targets for 34 yards. The Dolphins have one of the worst defenses in the league, and now their offense is even more compromised with De’Von Achane (knee) out. The Vikings might not need to throw much in this matchup, so expect another heavy workload for Jones.
Player to Avoid
Omarion Hampton, LAC at SEA ($6,300): The Bills held Hampton in check last week, limiting him to 56 yards on 15 carries. The second-year back hasn’t been involved much in the passing game, receiving a total of three targets through three games. The Seahawks are a daunting opponent, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. A big reason why is that running backs average just 2.9 yards per carry against them. I’d much rather roll with Jones this week, who has a cheaper salary and a better matchup.
Wide Receivers
Drake London, ATL at NO ($6,500): The return of Michael Penix Jr. last week resulted in a windfall for London, who caught nine of 10 targets for 194 yards. Over the first two weeks without him, London had only six receptions for 80 yards. In what could be a high-scoring game against the Saints, London should again see plenty of targets thrown his way. Combine his 38.6% share of the Falcons’ air yards with a hefty target share, and he stands out among the wide receiver options.
Michael Wilson, ARI at NYG ($5,500): Wilson excelled against the 49ers last week, catching 11 of 17 targets for 89 yards and one touchdown. He has clearly surpassed Marvin Harrison Jr. on Arizona’s depth chart, out-targeting him 31 to 9 for the season. He has also been targeted on 46.3% of his routes run. Wilson and Brissett are an appealing budget-friendly stack this week.
Player to Avoid
Mike Evans, SF vs. DEN ($6,600): The 33-year-old Evans continues to live on the injury report for the 49ers. He left last week’s matchup with the Cardinals because of a rib injury, marking the second time in three games that he couldn’t play until the final whistle. He is viewed as day-to-day heading into Week 4, but even if he is cleared to play, who knows how long he will last. The Broncos are already tied for the fewest receptions allowed to wide receivers in the league, so this might be a week to avoid Evans.
Tight Ends
George Kittle, SF vs. DEN ($5,100): With the 49ers losing wide receivers left and right, they should rely heavily on Kittle. As he works his way back from a torn Achilles, it was encouraging to see him log 46 snaps against the Cardinals last week. He capitalized on his added time on the field, posting six receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns. As good as the Broncos have been against wide receivers, they are tied for the seventh-most receptions allowed to tight ends. With Kittle’s playing-time limitations fading, he should be a top DFS option at tight end again.
Darren Waller, CAR vs. DET ($3,300): The Lions are a team to attack when it comes to tight ends. They are dealing with multiple injuries at safety, putting them in a difficult spot when it comes to defending the position. Through three weeks, they have allowed the most receptions (29), receiving yards (351) and touchdowns (six) to the position. Waller, who already has two touchdowns and has been targeted 11 times over his last two games, could provide value.
Player to Avoid
Oronde Gadsden II, LAC at SEA ($3,600): Gadsden showed flashes of promise last season but was buried on the Chargers’ depth chart to begin this year. However, injuries to Charlie Kolar (forearm) and David Njoku (fibula) put him back into DFS consideration, especially after he scored a touchdown in Week 2. Despite logging a season-high 39 offensive snaps in Week 3, he did not haul in any of his three targets. For those looking to take a chance on a tight end with a cheap salary this week, steer clear of Gadsden, especially with Waller having a cheaper salary and a superior matchup.

Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai enters Sunday's home game against the New York Jets with low-end RB3/flex value in light of a tough matchup. Monangai and teammate D'Andre Swift have a stranglehold on Chicago's backfield, accounting for every running back rush attempt so far this season. While the former can't be trusted as a weekly high-upside fantasy play, a steady average of 11.3 opportunities (ten rushes) per game has kept him in the conversation. In Week 4, the second-year back out of Rutgers won't be afforded any favors in a Jets defense that's held opponents to a scant 87.3 yards per game on the ground. All that said, Monangai's involvement in a capable Bears offense and his ability to break off chunk gains should keep his fantasy value afloat until quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) returns. The New Jersey native is RotoBaller's PPR RB33 for the weekend ahead.
From RotoBaller
While Jalen Nailor operates as the No. 2 wide receiver on the depth chart for the Las Vegas Raiders, he has not yet provided any true value in fantasy football. Nailor, who has played 119 offensive snaps across three games, has totaled just five receptions (on 11 targets) for 52 yards (10.4 yards per catch) and zero touchdowns. It doesn't get any easier in Week 4, as Nailor faces a Kansas City Chiefs defense that ranks sixth in the NFL in passing yards per game allowed (178.3). With the recent return of tight end Brock Bowers, and with additional competition in the passing game from running back Ashton Jeanty (who leads the team in receptions with 13), wide receiver Tre Tucker (who leads the Raiders in receiving yards with 189) and tight end Michael Mayer, Nailor's targets remain a question mark. Nailor is currently rostered in just 8% of Yahoo leagues and is off the radar as RotoBaller's No. 77 wide receiver in Week 4. He can safely remain out of lineups this week.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III is well positioned for another productive outing as his team squares off with the visiting New York Jets in Week 4. The University of Missouri product posted strong numbers in last Monday's 27-7 win over the Eagles. Fellow wideout Kalif Raymond led the team with 90 receiving yards on the back of a 41-yard catch-and-run that cashed in for six, but Burden captained the way with seven catches on 11 targets. In fact, the 22-year-old leads Chicago in looks over his last two appearances and has been heavily involved, though he placed third (86) in snaps behind Raymond (100) and Rome Odunze (123) over that time frame. Even if Raymond edges out Burden in two-wide-receiver sets, Burden still appears to be a key cog in Chicago's aerial attack. New York isn't an easy opponent, but Burden looks to be over a preseason groin injury and has retained the elevated role he boasted to close out the 2025 campaign. Fantasy managers can roll the second-year pass catcher out as RotoBaller's PPR WR29 for his matchup with the Jets.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent could get the start this Sunday when his team takes on the New York Jets at home. Bagent nearly got the starting nod last week in the Bears' win over Philadelphia, but he couldn't clear concussion protocol for Monday night's matchup. Case Keenum played lights out in relief, but head coach Ben Johnson left the door open for either quarterback to be named starter this Sunday while Caleb Williams (hamstring) recovers. While it might be hard to imagine Bagent getting a look after Keenum's performance, the former could still be thrust into action after taking reps with the first team in practice this week. Week 4 won't be easy, as New York ranks third-best in the league through three games, allowing an average of 171 yards through the air. Either way, Bagent looked solid in his short relief of Williams in their loss to Minnesota. The fourth-year pro would be RotoBaller's QB33 in his first start since Week 8 of the 2023 campaign.
From RotoBaller
Across the first three games of his NFL career, Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Mike Washington Jr. has recorded 15 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown. The 23-year-old has flashed high-end upside, including rushing for a 36-yard touchdown in the Raiders' Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints. However, his production upside is limited while playing behind star Las Vegas back Ashton Jeanty, who has operated as a true three-down workhorse. In Week 4, the Raiders will take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City has defended well against the run so far this season, ranking 10th in the NFL in total rushing yards allowed (299). The Chiefs have also been very good at limiting explosive plays on the ground, allowing just one carry of 20 or more yards. Given his limited workload, Washington Jr. needs big plays to be useful for fantasy managers. Washington Jr. remains a high-end handcuff running back option, but he should be left on benches in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
After being limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (glute) logged a full practice on Friday and will play in his team's Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Irving has gotten off to a solid start to the 2026 season, recording 241 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 53 touches across three games. The Bucs offense has question marks heading into Week 4, as rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels will take over under center for injured signal-caller Baker Mayfield (thumb). However, the Green Bay defense has had major issues against the run so far this season, ranking 28th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed (416) through three weeks. With the unproven Daniels at quarterback, Tampa Bay could look to lean on Irving as both a runner and a short-area receiver. Now that he's officially active, Irving profiles as a low-end RB2 option for fantasy managers in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud will get his elite No. 1 receiver, Nico Collins, back after a two-week absence this week for a must-win game against the Cowboys. The Texans almost beat the Colts in Week 3, but slid to 0-3 for the second straight season. Stroud only threw for 167 yards and a touchdown in that loss, completing just 16 of his 27 pass attempts (59.3%). He had multiple passing touchdowns only once this season, and that was in Week 1 when Collins was healthy. While he'll also need better pass protection up front, getting Collins back should give the offense a boost this week, and the Cowboys have been a favorable matchup for quarterbacks this season, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to the position. Stroud definitely has the potential to air it out, as he showed with his 55 pass attempts in Week 2, and the Texans' offense needs to get going right away if they want to rally to the playoffs like they did last year. In this favorable matchup and with Collins back, Stroud is the QB14 in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings, making him a high-end QB2 and possibly even an option in deep single-QB leagues. He's high-risk but brings good upside in what could turn into a high-scoring home game.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears quarterback Case Keenum is not guaranteed to start in this Sunday's matchup against the visiting New York Jets. The 38-year-old was called into action in Week 3 after backup Tyson Bagent couldn't clear concussion protocol in time to work in stead of starter Caleb Williams (hamstring). Keenum was darn-near electric in Chicago's 27-7 victory over the Eagles, and all indications pointed to him getting the nod again in Week 4. However, head coach Ben Johnson has kept his quarterback decision for the team's clash with New York close to the vest. It's likely just a bit of gamesmanship from Johnson, but, notably, Bagent worked with the starting offense during practice this week. If he's active, Keenum will get a Jets defense that's been stingy against the pass, allowing the opposition a measly 171 yards per game. The veteran is a fringe QB2 after a promising first outing, landing officially as RotoBaller's QB25 as we approach the season's quarter mark.
From RotoBaller
Across three games so far in 2026, Green Bay Packers running back Kaleb Johnson has recorded just 12 carries for 38 yards. However, the 23-year-old could have a chance to emerge as a more consistent part of his team's offense. The Packers' rushing offense has been horrendous through three weeks, ranking dead last in the NFL in total rushing yards (146), yards per carry (3.0), and rushing touchdowns (zero). Given Green Bay's struggles so far, Johnson could take over lead back duties from fellow Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Unfortunately for both Packers backs, Tampa Bay's rush defense has been excellent so far this year. The Bucs currently rank second in the NFL in yards per carry allowed (3.1) and have allowed just one rushing touchdown this year. Given the tough matchup and the lack of a proven track record, Johnson remains tough for fantasy managers to trust in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers wideout Quentin Johnston has seen his fantasy stock drop each week this season. Johnston hasn't taken advantage statistically of Ladd McConkey (foot) playing through injuries, while Tre Harris has shown flashes. However, the Chargers could be without McConkey on Sunday, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. McConkey missed one practice and logged two limited sessions during the week. Johnston enters Week 4 as RotoBaller's PPR WR63 in a tough matchup. The Seahawks defense has allowed the fewest receiving yards, receiving yards per reception, receiving plays over 20-plus yards, and receiving yards over 40 yards. Johnston should be viewed as a WR5 at best and should be out of fantasy lineups in Week 4. If he doesn't improve his play, Johnston could be surpassed by Harris in the Chargers target pecking order.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans running back Woody Marks has been locked into a 50/50 timeshare this season with David Montgomery, but the buzz this week has been that the second-year back could be stepping into an expanded role in Week 4. The 0-3 Texans are looking for a spark for their offense, and Marks has looked more explosive than Montgomery, even though his overall totals have still been uninspiring. He did convert a one-yard run late in Indianapolis last week that put the Texans in the lead before a late field goal. Marks only had 15 rushing yards on five carries and one catch for six yards, but the touchdown saved his fantasy production. In Week 2, he also showed his upside as a receiver with five catches, so he has multiple paths to success. Marks is high-risk since the offensive line has struggled to create opportunities for either running back, but if he gets most of the work, he would have good upside in this favorable matchup against the Cowboys. Marks is a FLEX option in deep leagues already and checks in as the No. 28 RB in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings. If he takes over the majority of the work in the backfield, he could bring even more value going forward if the Texans can find a better rhythm in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back Keaton Mitchell is coming off his best performance of the 2026 season. Mitchell saw season highs in carries (8), rushing yards (52), targets (3), snap percentage (38), and found the end zone. In an increased role, he had 13.7 PPR points and was the RB15 that week. Entering Week 4, Mitchell is RotoBaller's PPR RB39 in a tough Seattle matchup against the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Seahawks' defense hasn't allowed a rushing touchdown, has given up the third-fewest yards per carry, and has allowed the sixth-fewest rushing yards through three games. In addition, they haven't allowed a rushing play of 20-plus yards. Mitchell is a dynamic player with game-changing speed when he has the ball. However, Mitchell should be viewed as an RB4 and a risky flex option in a difficult Week 4 matchup.
From RotoBaller
The Minnesota Vikings are "hopeful" that star wide receiver Justin Jefferson (ankle) will make his return in Week 5, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Jefferson suffered the injury in Week 3 and has been ruled out for the Vikings' Week 4 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. However, Fowler reports that Jefferson's injury is "not a long-term issue." Across three games this season, the 27-year-old has recorded 13 catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 17 targets. When healthy, Jefferson profiles as one of the best wide receivers in football and the clear number one option in the Minnesota passing game. Without him, Vikings wideouts Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings should see larger workloads this week against Miami.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans running back David Montgomery started his season with a massive three-touchdown performance against the Bills, but he has struggled in his last two games and could be on the verge of losing some work. The veteran had just six carries for 10 rushing yards against the Bengals in Week 2 and 11 carries for 33 yards against the Colts in Week 3. He wasn't able to get back to the end zone in either game, although he did have multiple catches in each contest as well. Montgomery could be losing work to Woody Marks this week, according to reports from ESPN's Dan Graziano. The veteran still has touchdown-dependent potential, though, and he's in a favorable matchup against the Cowboys, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to RBs this season. Overall, Montgomery lines up as a low-end, high-risk RB2 this week in standard-sized leagues. He's the No. 20 RB in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings, so he can be started with caution if you don't have better options.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad) is currently listed as questionable to play in his team's Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions due to a quad injury. The 24-year-old suffered the injury during Carolina's Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns and was forced to leave the game. He did not practice on Wednesday, but was able to log limited practice sessions on both Thursday and Friday. If Coker can play against Detroit, he could be set up for a monster week. The third-year wideout has been excellent when healthy so far this season, recording 16 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns on 18 targets across his first two games. The Lions' defense has also been atrocious against the pass, allowing over 325 passing yards per game through the first three weeks of the season. If Coker is active, he profiles as a solid WR2 option for fantasy managers in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has had a rough start to his 2026 campaign and will face his toughest defense yet on Sunday. In three games, Herbert has yet to throw for over 250 passing yards or multiple touchdown passes in a single game. Herbert and the Chargers will head to Seattle to face the reigning Super Bowl champions, who have the league's most feared defense. The Seahawks' defense has allowed the fewest passing yards while forcing the most interceptions (4) this season. As a result, Herbert enters Week 4 as RotoBaller's QB26 and shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. Herbert has yet to surpass 15 fantasy points in a game this year and has thrown more interceptions than touchdown passes. The 28-year-old is a risky superflex play at best, and better quarterback streaming options are available on the waiver wire in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton is coming off his worst performance of the 2026 season. The 23-year-old had less than a 50% snap share, produced 5.6 PPR points, and finished as the RB40 for the week. Gloomy skies remain for Hampton as he heads to Seattle to face the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Seahawks' defense hasn't allowed a rushing touchdown, has allowed the third-fewest yards per carry, and has allowed the sixth-fewest rushing yards through three games. As a result, Hampton enters Week 4 as RotoBaller's PPR RB24 in a tough matchup. Hampton is a borderline RB2 this week and will likely need to find the end zone to pay off for fantasy managers. The young back has yet to live up to lofty offseason expectations as he heads into Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson will remain involved in the team's passing game against the Cowboys in Week 4, although he could be in a smaller role with Nico Collins returning from a two-week absence. Hutchinson has three catches on at least six targets in each of the first three games of this season. He had a season-high 51 yards in Week 3 against the Colts and also had two rushes for four yards. Hutchinson will likely rotate with Kayshon Boutte across from Collins against Dallas, and even though his connection with C.J. Stroud is strong, his reduced role has him as the No. 81 WR in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings. He can be left on the waiver wire or your bench in most formats until the Texans' offense gets going.
From RotoBaller
Across three games so far in 2026, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy has recorded just nine catches for 67 yards. However, the 26-year-old has seen 18 targets, including eight in Dallas' Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. While Flournoy is the clear WR3 in Dallas behind star Cowboys wideouts CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, he's still played at least 66% of his team's offensive snaps in every game this season. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is also currently averaging 35 pass attempts per game, which gives Flournoy a chance to be productive. In Week 4, the Cowboys are set to face the Houston Texans. Houston has been surprisingly vulnerable to the pass so far this season, ranking 27th in the NFL in yards per pass attempt allowed (8.1). Still, the Texans boast one of the league's most talented defenses and could make life hard on the Dallas offense. All in all, Flournoy profiles as a deep-league flex option at best in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Kayshon Boutte hasn't had a huge game in his time with his new team, but now he won't have the pressure of trying to fill in for Nico Collins, who will be back from his hamstring injury. Boutte has only been marginally involved in the two weeks without Collins, catching three passes for 37 yards against the Bengals and two passes for 21 yards against the Colts. He played about 70% of snaps each week but hasn't yet shown a strong connection with QB C.J. Stroud. Boutte does remain a boom-or-bust deep threat with upside, especially as he grows in the offense, but he is only the WR62 in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings, making him a very high-risk starting option against the Cowboys.
